ECI Telecom Technologies Welcomed Into AT&T's Tier 1 Installation Process

The fulfillment of a long pursued opportunity has finally come to fruition.

In July 2006 ECI was welcomed to participate in AT&T's Installation Process.

Activities to complete the process are underway.

ECI Telecom Technologies is a Corporate Sponsor for the 8th Annual National Conference of Community NETwork African American Telecommunication Professionals of AT&T.

The conference was held July 21st - July 23rd  2006 in St Louis Missouri.   Keynote Speakers included Randall Stephenson, COO of AT&T; David L Steward, founder and CEO of World Wide Technology, Inc.; Charles "Chuck" Smith, President and CEO of AT&T West and Cynthia G Marshall, Senior VP-Regulatory and Constituency Relations for AT&T California.

Among the many notable Emcees were Monica M Huddleston, Mayor of Greendale MO and retired SBC Director and Michael Brundy, past National Community Network President and IT Technical Director of AT&T Services.  A special tribute was paid to Baseball Hall of Famer, Ozzie 'The Wizard' Smith of the St Louis Cardinals. Present also, as the electrifying connectivity that holds it all together was the National President of Community NETwork,The elegant Barbara Brigance. 

President Brigance instructed participants to:

  • Foster new mind sets to understand key variables of corporate globalization;

  • Create universal access to eliminate barriers in shaping Diversity and inclusion of present and future AT&T cultures;

  • Increase opportunities resources and skills; developing technical literacy to compete in emerging markets;  and

  • Improve data collection and analysis during the expedition.
